  • Azul - I felt like this was high quality Mexican at decent price. One friend hated on it but I’ve been a few times and I still like it
  • Contramar - Popular seafood place amongst gringos
  • Filigrana - Fancy Mexican dishes
  • Katsu Sando - If you need a change of food scenery and want a Katsu sandwhich
  • Loup Bar - Good for natural wines
  • Maximo Bistrot - Popular restaurant in Roma Norte, known for its chef's selection of dishes.
  • Maíz de Cacao - Go here to this small unassuming place to try more traditional foods
  • Meroma - My fav recent find, a nice counter to grab an afternoon drink
  • Ojo Rojo Diner - If youre sick of Mexican you can try this modern diner
  • Pujol - The infamous
  • Quintonil - Michelin infamous
  • Restaurante Rosetta - Never been but I heard it’s nice

  • Bar Felix - Concrete and candlelight cocktail bar
  • Bar Las Brujas - All women run bar
  • Bósforo - Mezcal bar offering a wide variety of mezcal from different regions.
  • La Clandestina - Bar with good mezcal

  • Blend Station - Spent many hours working from here in 2018!
  • LagoAlgo - located inside Mexico's largest park, Bosque de Chapultepec. The contemporary art on display is of the highest level, curated by Jérôme Sans, founder and former director of the Palais de Tokyo in Paris.

  • Café Tilia | Cafetería de Especialidad - Another chill coffee shop
  • Cardinal Casa de Café - Coffee in a lovely space
  • Casa de la Luz Hotel Boutique - Inexpensive hotel but right in city center [george]
  • Churrería El Moro - For churros
  • Constela Café - Chill cafe that does food too
  • Dosis Cafe - This was my regular chill spot on a quiet corner

  • Casa Estudio Luis Barragán - House of architect Luis B. Book in advance for a tour
  • Casa Gilardi - Must do architectural tour. Book well in advance
  • MODO Museo del Objeto del Objeto - Cute lil museum of random objects and packaging and graphic design
  • Art Gallery

  • Galerie Nordenhake México - With galleries in Stockholm and Berlin, Nordenhake focuses on international contemporary art. Frida Escobedo redesigned the site in Mexico City, so if you want to have an aesthetic experience while you're here, this is the place.

  • La Murciélaga Librería - The perfect place for book lovers to find very rare first editions and publications in a wide range of languages, while savouring the quiet joy of being surrounded by stories. A literary paradise.

  • Museo Nacional de Antropología - Anthropology but super interesting to learn about the natives and in a beautiful space

  • Quetzalcoatl Park - Park that you need an in to visit

  • Tiempos Shop - This futuristic space in Colonia Juárez houses the store, offices and creative studios of Tiempos, a cutting-edge fashion label founded by Esteban Tamayo. From the architecture - designed alongside Sala Hars - to the furniture, it creates an experience that goes beyond shopping.
